A: A good coputerized sewing machine w/ embroidery, a laptop or computer and color screen, and embroidery software. In addition, many people enjoy having the fabric mover or quilt frame with stitch regulator, good quality inkjet printer that allows printing on fabric and lots of quality embroidery designs and disks.

Q: Machine embroidery sounds complicated, is it?
A: Embroidery, free-motion quilting and printing on fabric are really not very difficult. All they take are some understanding about the techniques, tools and your sewing machine. Q: How long does a typical embroidery design take to stitch out?
A: Each embroidery design is different, so your timeline depends on size, number of colors and complexity. Simple designs in one color can take up to 1 minute. A very complex design in a large hoop can take an hour or more.
