Embroidery ABCs: In-the-Hoop Zipper Purse
Are you intimidated and overwhelmed about what stabilizer to use to make successful projects? Do you want to feel confident that your embroidery will work on your material? This class is for you!! You will learn while making fun projects. Janet has been doing embroidery work for over 20 years and will bring lots of samples to get you motivated.
In-the-Hoop Zipper Purse: You will understand all the buzz words that seem to be used so much. While making a super cute zipper bag, personalizing it for you, this project will help you understand how to read the directions and what stabilizers to use. A free pattern is available for download. You will also be able to put in zippers and understand how to make a decorative one and one that is inside the seam. Bring your sewing machine, embroidery unit and a 5x7 hoop. Stabilizer will be provided.

Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
