Intro to Quilting: Bookkeeper/Tablet Cover
Led by Jayne Vetter
Learn all the components of making a quilt on a much smaller scale (think place mat, table runner or hot pads.) You will learn rotary cutting techniques, piecing techniques, seaming & pressing. Incorporate your sewing machine decorative stitches as quilting. Finish with binding. For the confident beginner, 12 years and up, new to quilting or simply want a refresher and/or learn a different approach.
Instructor, Jayne Vetter, is an experienced Palmer/Pletsch certified instructor and has taught sewing for Oregon City School District. Click on the link for a supply and equipment requirement list. A kit will be available in lieu of bringing your own supplies.
