Bernina Pinpoint Placement
Led by PJ Wong
The Metallic Snow Person project is the perfect way to learn and experience the ease and accuracy of the Bernina Pinpoint Placement function.
The Metallic Snow Person is a multi-part Embroidery Project that uses Grid Point and Free-point placement and is a perfect project for understanding how the two placement methods differ and why one is used instead of the other. Finish the Multi-Hooping Project with the included instructions for One-Step Border/Binding.
The Class includes everything from the July 2023 club Project (five single-hooping sizes and two multiple-hooping sizes from 4” x 6 ¾” to 13 ½” x 22 ¼”, full written instructions, and links to the video supplements). I’ve also added Size H for the B 990 Giant Hoop (17” x 28 5/8”).
Techniques with this Project: working with Metallic threads, using PinPoint Placement with multiple hooping designs, and One-Step Border/Binding.
Machine and Hoop Requirements:
- Bernina B 590 with Midi or Mega Hoop
 - Bernina 7 series with PinPoint Placement and Maxi or larger Hoop
 - Bernina 9 series with Maxi or larger Hoop
