English Paper Pieced Star Ornaments and Mug Rugs

These embellished star ornaments are constructed using English Paper Piecing, making them a nice, portable, and take-along project. Everything you need to create them by hand will fit into a quart-sized Ziploc bag and can be toted in your purse. English Paper Piecing makes an excellent project to carry out while on a road trip, waiting for an appointment, listening to an audiobook, or streaming your favorite program. Assembled this way, they go together amazingly fast. If you prefer machine work, they are also easy to assemble by machine using the programmed stitches on your sewing machine. They are quick and easy, and make lovely holiday hostess gifts. If desired, you can make the 6" version with medium-weight cut-away stabilizer instead of cardstock and use them as holiday mug rugs or coasters.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
