Essential Tools for Teaching Kids to Sew
Do you already teach young people sewing? Are you thinking about a one-time group event? Teaching kids to sew should be a wonderful, fun adventure—not a survival experience. Come learn how a teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching kids and adults has maximized the joy and learning for students of all ages. In this interactive two-hour class Elizabeth will share some child development facts and explain how this knowledge has shaped her class planning, project choices, and even group management techniques--with wonderful results. See sample projects. Brainstorm project ideas for your target age group and leave better equipped for your next teaching adventure.
Supplies needed: Pen or pencil, and paper. If you teach, bring samples of current class projects. Handout included in class fee.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
