Giving Tree Wall Hanging

The Mini Quick Curve Ruler is just the tool to create this beautiful quilt! In this class you will learn how to read and use the ruler, plus helpful tips to make this festive wall hanging just in time for the holidays.
This is a quilt that requires color planning. You will receive a tree outline to pre-plan your fabrics and mark your “map” accordingly. The pattern shows solid greens, but why not let your creativity shine through! Feel free to use different colors or textures, but I would recommend no directional fabric.
Bringing in precut scraps and project fabrics will give us more sewing time! For your scrap fabric, please bring 2 to 4 of each: 5” squares, 5 ½ squares, and 4 ½ x 7 ½ rectangles (different colors are good). We will be using these to learn the different cuts and shake off the nerves! For your project fabric, please follow the General Cutting Instructions on page 89. DO NOT GO TO NEXT STEP! I recommend labeling your pieces; scrap paper works great.
This class is for a strong beginner and you must have basic knowledge of quilting and your sewing machine.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
