Intro to Machine Embroidery: Dimensional Mylar Appliqué Halloween Shapes
Embroidery machines are great for embellishing your projects and garments with pretty motifs and personalizing your items with monograms, but they can do SEW much more! In this class you will create Witch Hats and Spiders and Pumpkin using Mylar! These designs will definitely add sparkle to your Halloween party. String several of the shapes together for a ghoulish garland, or gift bag topper, or an accent for scrapbook pages!
Supply List
- You will need a 4 x 4 inch hoop
- Wash-away stabilizer
- Mylar in iridescent, black or color of your choice. Kimberbell mylar pack of gold, black, iridescent is perfect for this class.
- Also bring threads of your choice. Black, orange and purple are great.
- Bobbins with matching threads to your top thread choices.
- Normal sewing supplies for your machine embroidery

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
