Introduction to Sewing for Kids: Tote Bag
In this class, open to kids ages 8-12, your child will learn basic sewing techniques while working on this cute tote bag (pictured). We'll talk about how sewing machines work, show them how to read & cut a sewing pattern, and learn basic stitches.
Please bring your own sewing machine to class.
If you do not have your own machine, please contact us before you sign up so we can try to secure a machine for you to use. Please bring your own lunch, drinks, & snacks. Also we will not have room for parents or other kids to stay during class, so please plan accordingly. Click below for the supply list and more class details.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
