Quilted Trucker's Hat

Want to rock your own Quilted Trucker Hat this summer? Want to say "Thanks, I made it" when everyone compliments it?
Well, join Chris Marchini as he walks you from start to finish making his Quilted Trucker Hat pattern. You'll start with a few Fat Quarters and leave with a completely new Trucker Hat!
Supply List
- Sewing machine (A walking foot for the quilting of the front panel is helpful but not required)
- Your copy of the pattern (have all pieces cut out prior to class start). Pattern is available for purchase at our Lake Oswego location, with class discount.
- A marking tool of some kind to trace your pattern onto the fabric (Pencil, Frixion pen, etc.)
- Scissors
- Straight Pins / Sewing Clips
- Size 16/100 sewing machine needle (or a denim needle)
- 40wt sewing thread, a polyester or poly/cotton blend works well
- Iron and Ironing board (I assume that this is already in place in the classroom, so you can omit if so)
Fabric required for the hat :
- A 10" square for the front panel, either a solid fabric or pieced quilt block
- ¼ yard or Fat Quarter of fabric for the outside shell of the hat
- ¼ yard or Fat Quarter of fabric for the lining of the hat

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
