Snowman Placemat
In this class, you will learn how fun your sewing machine can be. All sewing machines have decorative stitches and now you will be using your creative ability to make this snowman. It will be uniquely yours and one of a kind. You will have so much fun while learning new techniques. You will be using the alphabets to create words and sequences of stitches. You will also learn how to use a circular attachment, plus how to use metallic threads and other specialty threads.
Supply List
- Bring your sewing machine
- Fat quarters of light and dark blue, scraps of white and black (for snowman)
- Ribbon for snowman 10"
- Fusible interfacing and fusible fleece (17 x 12)
- Full bobbin of white thread, or prewound embroidery bobbin
- Embroidery thread, white, colors and metallic
- Regular sewing thread to match table runner
- Metallic Needle
- 10/12(new needle)
- Circular attachment (optional)

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
