Collage Trees
Led by Helene Knott
One delightful aspect of creating scenic landscape quilts is the variety of techniques that can be employed to achieve exquisite details; this makes them fun to make. In this class, we will explore one such technique – the craft of making lovely foliage on trees and shrubbery by collage. The method is liberating, as you will compose your trees artistically and create trees that are far more textural and have more depth than simple silhouette-style trees; plus, it uses up small scraps. If you are not a scrap saver, no worries; I will bring lots of foliage scraps to share. Each student will receive two patterns and make the one of their choice in the class (the patterns included in the class).

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
