Fabric Treasure Boxes

These lovely fabric boxes are easy to make in any size you desire and can fit a novelty print or a mini pieced quilt block for the lid. In class, you will receive a pattern for boxes in three sizes, plus the measurement formula so you can design future boxes to specific dimensions; you can even make sets of nesting boxes. Though you will make a basic fabric box in class, I will cover ideas and tips on embellishing boxes. These make elegant gift boxes to present a gift, fill with chocolates or a special keepsake, or make the box itself a gift. They are remarkably durable too; I have been using one for my quilting safety pins for almost 20 years. Please note this project needs a sewing machine with a zipper foot. The case is machine-stitched, but the final assembly will be done by hand.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
