Finishing School
These ‘Open Sew’ classes are dedicated to helping students with an unfinished quilt or other sewing project, get back on track and finish it. Attending students will bring their unfinished projects along with the materials and tools needed to work on them, and the instructor will help them complete it, or at least get back into the saddle. Any projects started in one of Helene’s classes will be welcome, though classes taken from other instructors can be brought, as long as the student still has the instructions or pattern from the original class.
Depending on the stage of completion, some projects may not get completed in the class, the goal is to inspire students’ enthusiasm and focus for completing their projects and overcome any difficulties they may have encountered. Please contact the instructor for further consultation if you are unsure about supplies you will need for your quilt or sewing project, or no longer have your original instructional material.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
