Holiday Patchwork Stocking

Have you been naughty or nice?  What would make you very nice would be to make your loved ones some lovely Holiday Stockings (to hang up by the chimney with care). These quilted and lined stockings are pretty easy to make, so you could make a bunch of them while you're at it, and while you are at it, make one for yourself. They are large and sturdy enough to hold lots of stuffers and heavy oranges.  You can make a block for your stocking in class, or use up any orphan blocks you have. There will be a few patterns to choose from, including some applique and Hannukkah. You can add a faux-fur cuff or go for some holiday bling, then top them with elegant upholstery trim.
