In-depth FTCU Motifs: Creating, Editing and Organizing
Led by Bernie Bonn
This class is for those who use FTCU motifs, but want to do more than just pick one and apply it. Have you ever thought, I wish I could:
- change a motif (more symmetrical, make the curves look better, change the density…);
- make the curves in this motif look better at a larger size;
- make my own motifs;
- organize the list of hundreds of FTCU motifs so I can find the ones I like;
If so, this is the class for you. Students will receive a detailed handout describing how to work with motifs in FTCU. You will edit a few motifs and create at least one new one. You will learn how to make the motifs you use appear first in the FTCU motif list.
This is not a beginner class. Students should have some experience using motif stitches and FTCU drawing tools, and understand the difference between an object (or working) file and a stitch file. If you are interested in this class and have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
