Intro to Machine Embroidery: Crossbody Bag
Led by Elaine Knippers
Come learn to make a Crossbody bag using a whimsical flower pieced Rose design. We will make the medium sized bag in class totally in the hoop so you will leave with a completed bag that will be quilted and lined and ready to use. Enjoy meeting new people and walking away with a new bag to use.
Supplies Needed:
- Fabric A: 1/3 yard for Main fabric and straps
- Fabric B: 1 fat eighth for the lining
- Fabric C thru F: Fabric Scraps of your choice for the flower
- Fabric G: Fabric scrap for the leaves
- You will need a piece of batting at least 7 inches by 8 inches
- A 8 inch or longer zipper of your choice
- 2 one inch key rings
- The usual embroidery supplies including threads of your choice and paper tape.
Please come to class with a working knowledge of how to use your embroidery embroidery machine. As always your Montavilla Store in Lake Oswego has all of the things you will need and you get a class discount when you mention the class. They are all more than willing to help you.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
