Pendleton 1949 Women's Jacket

I am excited to offer this class for the Pendleton 1949 Women’s Jacket, aka the Pendleton 49er! It brings back fond memories of my 6th grade teacher who had a variety these beautiful jackets and wore one almost every day. This class consists of five 4-hour sessions to fit and construct the jacket perfectly for you. The jacket is typically made of Pendleton wool flannel, but it can be made of other types of woven fabric: chambray, lighter weight canvas or denim, pant weight or twill. The pattern is available at the Pendleton Woolen Mill Store on McLoughlin Blvd. in Milwaukie and the Pendleton Woolen Mill Store website. The pattern comes in 2 size groups—regular for size S, M, L, and Plus Size for 1x, 2x and 3x.
In class we’ll cover minor pattern alterations for fit, matching plaids, convertible collar, bias or grain cut pocket, bias or grain cut yoke, flat felled seams, continuous bound cuff placket, and cuffs.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
