Quilting to Color
Led by Helene Knott
This class will introduce you to a new approach to quilting. You will be stitching a line drawing onto fabric, then coloring it in or painting it with textile paints. You do not need to be a master quilter to do this; you will be tracing a design drawn onto fabric or stitching through tracing paper. There will be a few design subjects to choose from, or you can create or find your own design. If you wish to bring your own design, contact the instructor for guidance on suitable designs. Please note that some examples may show stitching and coloring on collaged or pieced backgrounds; you will practice this method on a single-layered piece of fabric.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
