This class (three, 3-hour sessions) offers multiple versions of this Woven T-shirt in one SEW HOUSE SEVEN pattern. The Remy Raglan is a simple, relaxed fit, woven T-shirt with the following sleeve options, short sleeve, ¾-length rolled sleeve and ¾-gathered. Version #1 has an easy to sew plain front, Version #2 features a keyhole button closure at the front neck.

Jayne will be clarifying directions that might be confusing as well as offering additional variations for those interested in French Seams, cuffed sleeve, tunic length, hem facing and in-seam pockets. Color blocking and Topstitching are fun options to create whimsey to this top.

Jayne will teach you how to make this woven T-shirt with or without the use of a Serger. Bring your sewing machine in good working order or use a classroom model. Learn to apply woven sewing techniques; use sewing machine stitches to replicate the commercial serged seam, use a twin needle on your sewing machine to topstitch or use a store Serger/Coverstitch to finish & stabilize raw edges and topstitch.

Prerequisite - Beginning Sewing – Level 1 or the equivalent. Confident Beginner with some experience sewing with woven fabric.
