Stack and Whack Stained Glass Quilt

This stunning quilt is built using the stack and whack with a modified sort to spread the colors around. Piecing is all straight-line seams. This is a rule breaker quilt, Perfection is not required, we’ll assemble slightly larger than necessary and trim to final size. Don’t be intimidated by the crazy angles, each block is assembled in segments which are combined to create blocks. The quilt is beautiful in vibrant jewel tones, but let your imagination run wild. I do not recommend large prints, they wont be recognizable in the finished quilt. I’ve seen it done in polka dots, small print floral and tone on tone prints, all were gorgeous. A word of advice: if you use dyed fabrics (batiks) you will have to be careful with right and wrong sides.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
