Join us for a full day of The Sewing Revolution with Kym Goldup. Kym is bringing a lot of fun stories and will be sharing her vast sewing experience!
In this one day sewing workshop you will learn:
- How to use one of the amazing Janome Sewing Machines.
- Easy and perfect piecing.
- Use the Sewing Revolution tools such as: Mini Block Marker; Create a Tilt Ruler, Create a Trim Ruler and Too Easy Ruler.
- Have fun using inbuilt decorative stitches on the machine.
- Applique.
- Centering applique designs to a particular size square.
- Using the HP foot and plate for a perfect scant ¼“seam.
- How to get a perfect Double Mitre every time.
- Using the Create a Tilt ruler to have tilted squares with little or no waste of fabric.
- Stitch seams to get perfectly matched points.
- Using the Open Toe Accuflex foot
- Quilting in the ditch

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
