Merry & Bright: Embroidered Stockings
Led by Deb Bone-Harris
Get ready to deck the halls—and celebrate your embroidery skills—in this festive, hands-on class where we’ll create a Christmas stocking that uses the extraordinary features of your embroidery machine.
In this 2-day class, you’ll dive into both IQ Designer and Embroidery modes, using provided artwork to craft your stocking. Once the design and embroidery is complete, we’ll switch to the sewing side of the machine to complete the stocking.

- Scanning
- IQ Intuition Positioning app for importing artwork
- Embroidery
- Creating background fills with motif decorative stitches
- Grouping, sizing, and layering to build multi-dimensional designs
- Creating unique text using font attributes, placement, and sizing
- Projection to visualize and position
All project supplies, along with Baby Lock & Brother sewing & embroidery machines, will be provided for you to use in class. Lunch and snacks will be served each day. Come stitch some holiday magic with us!

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Class, club, and event fees are nonrefundable. You must cancel 72 hours before the first session of the class, club, or event to receive store credit or apply the fee to another class, club or event. However, if the instructor or Montavilla Sewing Centers has to cancel a class, club, or event, you have the option for a store credit or full refund. Students must bring their own machines to all classes, unless otherwise noted. We request that you do not bring children or guests to the classes. Thank you!
