For Janome machines with a horizontal spool pin, this cap secures the spool onto the spool pin.
Sometimes, a large spool will not fit on your horizontal spool pin with enough room for the spool holder to attach properly. The Horizontal Spool Holder (Special) allows the spool to be held tight to your spool pin without falling off or creating a gap.
