The Original IDT System
IDT™ is a PFAFF® exclusive feature that delivers absolutely even fabric feed from both the top and the bottom, and ensures perfect seams on all fabrics. IDT™ is ideal for the quilter and sewer, and works with any stitch in forward or reverse at any stitch length or width. Integrated Dual Feed only from PFAFF® for over 45 years!

Automatic Thread Tensions
Easily sew any type of stitch without needing to adjust thread tensions. Needle thread tension is set electronically for every stitch!
ActivStitch Technology
With three patents, this revolutionary technology delivers precise, gorgeous embroidery even when using challenging novelty threads like metallic. Sensors measure the fabric thickness to regulate the amount of thread needed to achieve perfect balance between the needle and bobbin threads. Results are perfect on both sides of the fabric.
Automatic Presser Foot Lift
Raises the presser foot instantly when the needle is set to stop down and/or at the end of a seam after a thread snip.
Automatic Thread Cutter
Automatically cut top and bobbin threads, pulling thread ends to the back side of fabric.
